apparently artificial sweetners can cause weight gain, rather than help you lose it according to a new study by Purdue University....
products like splenda confuse the body into burning calories differently...
long story short: when you're eating, your body temperature rises slightly, and your metabolism gets ready to help burn off calories...but artificial sugar throws this off, causing your body's temperature to rise to a lower amount, and slowing your metabolism..
I KNEW SPLENDA WAS SKETCHY!!!
